I've never used foundation before (or anything besides concealer) because I have sensitive skin and break out easily when I put anything on. but lately I've been wanting to get a foundation and have heard a lot of good things about the new bobbi brown foundation stick.
I just got money for my birthday and was thinking of buying it but it's kind of expensive.
I was wondering if it's worth getting? and if not if anybody has any recommendations for another similar or good foundation. I want a foundation that isn't heavy, doesn't need a power to set, and looks really natural because we're not allowed to wear makeup at my school lol

Well if you go into sephora they will give samples. I'd suggest tartes Amazonian clay foundation, it's great for sensitive skin and breakouts. It looks natural but it's thicker, so it might take a few wears to get used too. A little goes a long way, I use a dime size for my entire face haha.

I've been eyeing this as well. But, if you want easy, try Dior Airflash foundation. Expensive, but super easy to apply (I like my elf flat top powder brush to apply) and it doesn't need powder, it sets really light, and makes you look flawless.

I think its worth it..but it only works well with combination to dry skin..I've been using it for years and I love it..! they have reformulated it and made it even better, it looks just like skin..I think you should go for it..

The new formula is perfect for oily/combo skin. I had the old formula and I could not use it everyday as it was not oily girl friendly. The new formula is far more lighter and the finished outcome definitely shows your skin but better look. When I use it I don't even bother with undereye concealer because it does a great job at providing even coverage for those mornings my eyes look a lil crazy. I just use my fingers to blend out. Super quick and easy.

You can also try get a sample of estee Lauder double wear light foundation in the correct colour for you. It's a lighter formulatiin than their double wear foundation and it gives a really natural look and a tiny bit of spf.

I do love how the Bobbi foundation stick looks and how you can control how much coverage you want. You can make it look very natural or really pack it on in the areas you need extra coverage. I'm not sure I would skip setting it with a powder if you have oily skin or live in a very humid area. If you purchase it at a belk and don't like it, I'm sure you can return it. I'm not sure what the return policies are everywhere else. Wayne Goss does a tutorial using the stick for a natural look if you haven't seen it already!
