In the 3rd pic you pin the 2 loose braids over eachother.

It's a French fishtail braid and you just pull out the strands on the bottom. For me it's really easy so that's kind of what I explain it to myself as☺ (and French just means your adding in hair each time you repeat the prosses) or you can just youtube French fishtail with bun😊☺💃
