So, my regrowth was in desperate need of attention but I was out of bleach so I used baking soda and peroxide an it actually worked 😄 my hair is naturally medium/light ashy (yucky) brown, so I had to leave it on for thirty minutes and used a hair dryer for the first five minutes. It didn't cause any damage and it's actually looking healthier than it was before I lightened it. So happy I had to share lol.

That can't be too good, but definitely glad it worked for you! Try not to overdo it though :)

Thanks Renay! Haha yeah... My youngest sis... Didn't even notice her until you said something lol. Thanks, Brittany. It actually easier on your hair that dyes/bleach. :)

Woah that's crazy how it can go into that brown into a very very light blonde! Crazy! I would do this but I'm way to scared.

Ikr Mya. I would be careful doing it on super dark hair lol yours looks jut a little darker than mine. There's a strong possibility it would turn orange. If you wan to try it you could do it on a little strand under your hair :)

I did this too, using peroxide and baking soda turned my very dark natural brown hair blonde. I had to do a couple sessions but I did it in like 1 week:)

Peroxide is found in developer so maybe I'm missing something. I use 20% when lifting. I'd rather be safe and know what percentage I was using for my scalp's health.

Hi, Rozzberry :) I used drugstore peroxide, which is also used for cleaning minor cuts and abrasions. It's safer for your scalp that the normal developer because it leaves out all the other chemicals :)
