Start off natural (:
Get the basics
-eyeshadow primer
(Elf has good ones)
-eyeshadow palette
(Whatever fits you!)
-eyeshadow brush
(Elf has a decent one)
-eyeshadow flat shader
-eyeshadow blending brush
-eyeshadow crease brushes
(Studio am has affordable good quality ones)
Get started!
1.) always apply primer first! It will make your eyeshadow last longer
2.) I start with crease first (my preference) add a medium brown color (if your doing a nude shadow look) with a crease brush to get a very nice and defined eye look
3.) then blend it out with your blending brush
4.) OPTIONAL! Add a darker brown or black to the outer v with either a small crease blush or an angled eyeshadow brush (the angled eyeshadow brush looks more natural and is easier)
5.) use a flat shader and take a light nude "base" color and pat that on your whole lid.
6.) for more definition you can add another white-yellow based color just in the middle of the eye (not up in crease)
7.) blend all the colors softly for a more gentle softer look
8.) HIGHLIGHT! Use an angled eyeshadow brush and apply a white color on the brow bone and the inner corners of your eyes! This will add some definition and bring attention to highlighted areas!
9.) apply your other eyes stuff (eyeliner, mascara, false lashes, ect.)
Hope this helped (:

I described it for a neutral eye look with nudes (white, brown, black, ect.) but you can change anything to fit your needs (:
