Elf is also a great brand to try out but a lot of their products can be either a hit or a miss. I prefer mainly their powders (black packaging not the white), brushes, facial whips, primers, loose eyeshadows.

If you are looking for mainly drugstore, I would check out various YouTuber's "$20 Makeup Challenge" It is a great place to start, and since you have a bigger budget, you can get more products if you would like.
