I need hair ideas.

My hair is dry and afro frizzy when it's wet, I never wear it curly, I always straighten it and immediately put it in a ponytail. I need something different before I get into highschool this August. Any ideas on how to both keep my hair out of my face and not in a ponytail?

Haha thanks for the ideas! I completely forgot about braids, I just need a french braider.
