My hair is very dry and brittle and no shampoos or conditioners have been able to make it feel soft and smooth again. My hairdresser said its a build up of proteins which is making it prone to breakage so do any of you lovely beautylishers know any hair care lines/ masks that are protein free? Thanks in advance :)

Thanks guys for your suggestions but unfortunately keratin is out of the question as it will add to the problem and I need specific protein free hair masks suggestions but thanks for your input. I'll definitely try the oils though.
