The extra long one is great for striping. The shorter ones are good for doing finer details. I'm not sure about the different colors. I'm thinking because it's made from a different fiber (natural vs synthetic). I can't for the life of me figure out how to use the fan brush lol
I clean mine in regular acetone. I haven't had any problems.

I use the fan brush to remove any glitter that has fallen onto the skin surrounding my nails. There's no rules to how you use nail brushes it's how you like to use them. Me personally I hate long brushes, the smaller the better in my opinion! Just have a play around with them and make sure you clean them as they will harden and it can ruin the brush!

Did you get mad and break the 3rd to the right brush?

@Mya...some nail brushes are made that way.

If nail polish or anything (nail glue, etc) dries on them, there is a brush cleaner at the art supply store called "The Masters Brush Cleaner and Preserver" that will remove basically anything (I've used it to clean anything from makeup to acrylic paint from brushes) without damaging bristles.

If the bristles on your brushes are natural, acetone will dry them and cause them to frizz/break. Also be careful not to get acetone into the ferrule, or it will break down the glue holding the brush together. It can also start melting the paint on the handles if it gets on them. I may have learned this by accidental experience...
