I recently got pravana silver color, and reading reviews I've seen a lot about how it will turn hair blue or purple: in order to make it silver, should I dilute it?

I think the cause of the color shifting to a blue or purple tinge is the undertones in the hair (orange/yellow) tinge. I think if you buy a toner to cancel out the tones than you should be okay :)
