I am asian, but I don't have silky hair like some asian (or not asian) girls. My hair is quite thick and seems coarse. Any tips or recommendations to get soft silky hair?

Keeping the hair as moisturised as possible will help. Invest in leave in conditioners, a good treatment conditioner, and some serum.
