It's basically just nutrition in a pill. Which can be dangerous if you don't know what your body can take. Overdosing on certain parts of it can be unhealthy for you.
You can get these nutrients through healthy eating.

Talk to your doctor! Taking supplements can be dangerous if you don't need them. Overdose can cause side effects, and many supplements interact with prescription medications.
If you are trying to grow your hair, be aware that NOTHING can make it grow faster than its maximum healthy rate. That is controlled entirely by genetics. Eating a well balanced healthy diet, avoiding heat and damaging styles, and getting regular trims to stop split ends are the best ways to have healthy, longer hair.
