Hey all! I have this issue with eyeshadow primers, I've used TFSI and UDPP before but with both of them after about a year of using them, they stopped working on me. Does anyone know why that might be? Or has it happened to you? It really sucks as I loved both primers and my eyeshadows tend to crease easily...I've yet to find one that works as well as both of those did at keeping my eyeshadow from creasing and i'd love to know why they just up and stopped working!

Chanels-BASE OMBRE À PAUPIÈRES, I have tried soooo many eye primers and this is the ONLY one that hasn't made my eyeshadow crease. Good luck :)

BH cosmetics has a really good & affordable eye & lip primer. So far, it's my favorite.

Urban Decay and MAC's paint pot.. I use Painterly... Works great. I've also noticed when i don't moisturize the eye area at least twice a week that the primer doesn't really go on smoothly and doesn't last as long. Clinique's all about the eyes is awesome and hydrates.

I think maybe your eyelids have adapted to the drying quality of primers and are now producing oil more than ever. maybe stop using primers and shadows for a week, maybe just stick to eyeliners for now. our body is very good at adapting, and we sometimes need to trick it. it's also possible that the products themselves have changed quality. I personally use ELF and it works for my uber oily lids. but I don't prime all the time as I find it dries out my lids, then my lids start producing more oil.

Lorac's shadow primer has been my favorite to date. Not so silicon-y feeling like Primer Potion. I switch between my UD and LORAC primer and I think LORAC takes the cake.
