You can pull off a lot of colors just depends on your mood for the day and what look your going for stick to warmer colors instead of cool colors

Ahh I love lipstick posts because lipstick is definitely my beauty go to :) MAC lipstick is amazing, and I think the color Odessey would be amazing on you. It's like a deep purple color. I'd head to your nearest makeup counter and ask them to try some on you!
