Before taking a bath, cover you hair with honey let it there for 20 minutes and the take a bath and wash your hair normally (Tip:if you wash your hair with fresh water results are better)

Raw, unprocessed honey contains trace amounts of hydrogen peroxide. Used repeatedly over a long period of time, it can lighten hair. However, if you have any golden or red tones, you risk having orange tones if you lighten it this way.

Honey also has humectants. It will help seal moisture into the cuticle of the hair (note I say seal moisture, NOT moisturize). It is antibacterial as well, to a degree.

However, if you have pollen allergies/hay fever (or if you don't know if you do or don't), honey can cause an allergic reaction including hives, sneezing, nasal congestion, or even anaphylaxis.

I don't recommend using honey for anything topically, just because the risk of reaction is far greater than any benefit it would provide.
