I personally like your dark hair better...I think you could lighten it up a bit with caramel colored highlights...something like this...I just think the blonde washes you out...whereas a caramel highlight will warm up your features.

I think it looks alright, but it's going to wash you out and that shade of blonde will look more unnatural whereas if you chose a darker shade. Stick with gold toned blondes.
