So I have read so many post on here about Maybelline Babylips, and were pretty sad that I couldn't get it in my country - so 3 week ago it finally came!! I was so excited and bought the red one "Cherry me" right away - riped it open and put in on!!

Boy was I disappointed!! It did nothing for my lips... its not very moisturizing and its very little tindet...
I don't know what I was expecting, but I was expecting more!

What do you all think of this product? Did I just pick the wrong one or what?

I agree they're not amazing at moisturising, I like the packaging, the scent and the slight tint of colour they give you but for true lip care I would always go for my burts bees.

Your so right love. like I said I got the mint one. and to be honest I havnt used it in ages. and I don't think I will again. its definitely not moisturising.

All hype! they are kind of oily and feel like they're sitting on top of my lips, my lips actually become dryer from repeated use :( and the name is gross to me! I agree with Mhairi, burt's bees lip balm is fantastic, as is the fresh lip therapy. blistex five star weather protection also gave me good results(:

I don't get the hype. I hated the smell and they didn't moisturize my lips at all, I felt like they made them more dry over time. I do like eos though, I know a lot of people don't like it but it works a lot better for me then other things I've tried.

I'm so happy I wasn't the only one who didn't like it :) I'm happy I got it at an introduction price, would feel pretty riped off if I had payed full price ;)

I don't get the hype either and feel that same with Burts bees neither of them are moisturizing and to me in my opinion Burts bees was worse :/ very dry and waxy.

I honestly didn't find the regular collection ones to be that moisturizing, but I did like the colors, which is too bad. However, strike a rose and pink shock from the electro line are a different story for me. They seem way more moisturizing, and these 2 colors I don't think I could live without. I haven't tried the Dr rescue line or whatever.

Really? the peppermint and quenched baby lips (which are the non tinted ones) are the only chap stick that ever helped me. when my lips are extremely dry and cracked and bleeding. (gets pretty bad) the baby lips cures it in no time! I just re apply and they become soft again. I also started using them every night before bed and I haven't had bad chapped lips while using them. and whenever I stop my lips get chapped again. the tinted ones taste good and wear off kind of quick but the pink and red ones leave a but of a stain.

I also love quenched and strike a rose. And I think the cherry one smells delightful (reminds me of some childhood candy?!) but the two I mentioned are the only ones I like from the line.

Totally agree with you.. They are much hyped.. I used coral flush and its not that tinted also.. Their claim for 6 hours moisture formula s also not up to the mark.. Neutrogena lip moisturizer s very good one. but recently I came to know that Neutrogena tests on animals so won't b repurchasing it. Will be going for the body shop :)

I hated them too. Also the smell of the cherry grossed me out.
