I don't know if I'd like denim tops with jeans but maybe like a denim jacket and jeans with a top blocking it off would be cute.

I like the 1st pic. but Kim just looks awkward. I have worn denim on denim that is in the same shade and it actually looks cute. I think as long as you accessorize it well I think you can totally pull it off.

It depends on how it's done I guess. The first picture is cute but I don't love Kim's, but maybe that's because I just don't really like her jeans there in general.
