Definitely get glasses, if you want contacts too then sure. But definitely get glasses, you can't wear contacts all the time.
Honestly, any frame can look good. There's no rules. Try on funky ones, simple ones, round, square and everything in between. It's personal preference more than anything. Just go into a store and try on till you find a frame you like on yourself, take photos of the ones you like on yourself and ask friends or family which ones they think look best. :)

Well I learned for me that only rounded rectangle frames look good on me. Go to the eye place and try on a variety and see which frame looks best on you :)

But if you want to you can wear contacts permanently too...I'm doing that for 2 years now and it works perfectly :)

I wear contacts during the day and glasses at night. Wearing glasses all day hurts my eyes and makes them tired. I would recommend getting both.
