Omg mine does the same._. And I definitely see my hair is thinning. My mom says it's because I use too much heat! Anybody else have the same problem?

You Should Use A Hair Thickening Shampoo.
Try Using Hair Masks With Nutrients. Your Hair Might Be Losing Is Nutrients Maybe Because Of The Hair Products You Use ~<33

100 strands of hair is lost everyday by the average human depending on the individual, try not to tug or break hair ever, carefully, gently brush hair, take your time and moniter the amount of hair that falls out/sheds. Also, check your pillow to make sure there's not a big clump of hair on it,
Hair loss can be linked to;
Disease
Eating habits
Products used
Heat exposure (air dry works great, try a frizz serum if your hair is too frizzy for your taste)
I personally air dry, much healthier and it feels nice in the summer, the results with a blow dryer is the same as air drying so, I got nothing to lose.
Consider taking BIOTIN supplements $8-$10 at cvs, taking essential vitamins, hair treatments, home massaging, purchase keratin based shamp-cond, or anything sulfate, silicone, paraben free. Go for natural shamp-cond which is what I use. They can be expensive but so worth it.

You don't have enough iron in your blood, buy some iron pills. I had the same problem and ironpills really helped me.

Stop using heat on the hair or any products which cause damage to your hair. When you wash your hair allow it to try naturally. Don't but strain on the hair: don't wrap it tightly up in a towel neither put your hair up. Don't fiddle your hair, brush your hair to a minimum. Everyone goes through a stage where they find there losing hair more than they usually do: I did and I did what I recommended and my hair went back to normal. If your really concerned go to the doctors darling let us know how you get on

Anaemia could be one of the reasons. the doc had me tested and my iron count was very low! it has a specific name called telegon effluvium: Telogen effluvium is a scalp disorder
characterized by the thinning or shedding of
hair resulting from the early entry of hair in
the telogen phase (the resting phase of the
hair follicle). Emotional or physiological
stress may result in an alteration of the
normal hair cycle and cause the disorder, with
potential etiologies including eating disorders ,
fever , childbirth , chronic illness, major
surgery , anemia , severe emotional disorders ,
crash diets, hypothyroidism , and drugs < Wikipedia definition. regular intake of iron tabs along with a healthy meal helped curb my hair fall problem :) hope this helped.. and please visit the Dr asap.

Are you stressed because if so just calm down and breath when you get stressed if not you should try the garnier fructis fall fight fortifying shampoo.

Stress/depression can also cause hair loss! Also eating habits! I lose literally about a whole braid strip (in thickness) of my hair and I've just decided it's because my hairs pretty dead on the ends hahah.

Omg I wish I only shedded that amount!! I have a curly mane so of course I'm going to shed more than most but I shed tennis ball size gobs of hair and thats after I finger detangle my hair in the shower with a deep conditioner. I wouldnt be too alarmed as that doesn't look like a lot. Just to be on the safe side just keep track of your fallout whenever you style or cleanse your hair. Before you go running off to the drugstore to buy pills and switching up products get a check-up with your doc and have them run a blood panel. They will test for low iron, vitamin deficencies, etc.

Shelley is spot on!
Have you done any chemical treatments to your hair as well? Chemical treatments really weaken your hair.
Going to the Dr is your best bet, considering this is not normal for you.
This way your Dr can run the blood work just in case you are deficient in any kind of vitamin.
