You could try washing your hair like an hour before you go to bed. Dry it so its just a little damp and add a curl activator, and then plait it. Use some kind of silk or satin cap or scarf and cover you head with it while you sleep. This will give you full wavy hair in the morning when you comb it out.
or alternatively you could blow dry your hair upside down, but I find this method more damaging if you do it a lot.
hope this helped. x

Have you tried a thickening moose? it saved my life! I use the Oscar Blandi hair lift..it's light weight which is a plus for us fine haired ladies..another tip is not to condition your roots I usually apply my conditioner starting at the ears. conditioner cab weigh the hair down as well..As for getting waves maybe try a sea salt spray and scrunch your hair while blow drying..I like to use my diffuser with my blow dryer
