Not your mothers. I think its called girl powder? don't quote me on that. its a super light weight powder, I honestly thought there was nothing in the bottle haha. but its also cheap so that's goood.

The powder should be applied solely on the scalp and then rubbed into it gently. Is that how you are using it?

Hmm..how odd. Normally powders absorb oil from the scalp and reduce the amount traveling down the shaft. Since it doesn't touch my hair, I have never experienced difficulty with brushing. The only other brand I've tried is Big Sexy, which I like very much.
