Worst advise I've heard is putting mayo in your hair when you get the same results as just putting eggs and something else in your hair
Worst mishap just putting foundation on blemishes only (I was 15) lol

Worst advice: a DIY face serum (made from vinegar and water ick) or bronzer for contour
Worst mishap: either overdrawn brows or unblinded foundation.

My worst mishap was foundation that separated on my skin, oxidised, and generally wasn't my colour :/ pale, oily skinned girls know the struggle.

Yes Meghan I know the struggle as well D:
Worst advice: Elmer's glue on your nose works as a DIY blackhead remover.
Worst mishap: thick eyeliner all the way around my eyes. Ugh I looked like a raccoon.

Some of my worst mishaps are: way way way over plucking my eyebrows and filling them in TERRIBLE. I'm always like, "why didn't anyone tell me my eyebrows were terrible?!" Haha. And wearing the wrong shades of foundation. As long as it kinda matched I would wear it. 🙊

Worst advice: plucking your eyebrows with a magnifying mirror
Worst mishap: applying heavy black eyeliner on my waterline that would start running by mid afternoon (oh the middle school years...)

Britney A.
Worst advice : filling in eyebrows TOO MUCH , and using eyeliner as eyebrows filler
Worst mishap : Applying a lot of blue eyeliner on my water line , which I didn't like so I tried to remove it & I failed. Then I decided to apply heavy black eyeliner above it (to hide the blue ) which make me looking like a raccoon after about 2 hours ( that was in my cousin's wedding , so yeah.. I was so embarrased! )

Worst Advice: Using BioOil to moisturize and fade scars when I was a teen. Caused more acne and further scarring.
Worst Mishap: Allowing someone to use a razor on my curly hair to cancel out the weight. And then they used products used for jeri curls on my hair. Took me a month to remove the greasy build-up.

Worst advice - Bronzer to contour. I once got told (when I was 13) that PVA glue could be used for waxing.
Worst mishap - My 13 year old self and makeup. Blue eyeliner; need I say anymore.

As a teen growing out from a jeri curl to get a relaxer. I was told not just to only wash and condition as normal. When I should have been getting it treated every week. My hair broke off really bad and ended up having to cut my hair short. The upside was I found out I looked good with short hair.

Worst Advice: toothpaste on zits, putting vaseline on my cheekbones for a dewy finish (HAH teenage years..)
Worst Mishap: wearing heavy pencil eyeliner on my bottom water line and extending it as a wing. I did not know what I was doing. Also not blending my foundation properly (which was also too dark for me), giving the impression that I was wearing a heavy mask. eugh

Spider lashes ARE sexy

Worst beauty advice: fill in your eye brows with a color matching your eye brow hairs... My eye brow hairs are black but I'm a medium brunette. If I filled them in with black I would look like a monster with bush eyebrows!!
May 27, 2014
Kira-louise S.
Worst Advice; putting tooth paste or perfume on zits! OUCH!
Worst mishap: wearing the wrong foundation and looking like a wotsit! And not using natural light when it came to blusher so when I left the house I looked like a clown 😪 wasn't good!
