Hi ladies!
I thought I'd share this with you...
I've had brittle nails since last year and been really desperate to grow them. I've tried a lot of nail strengthen ing products but nothing worked because they just break and I end up chewing my nails until they got shorter again. Two months ago I decided to get nail extensions to remind me how nice and pretty I feel with long nails. Did it help? YES! it did not only gave me pretty long nails but it actually help my original nails grow longer beneath it. My extensions also help me got used to longer nails and so when my original nails reached the length I wanted, I had my extensions removed. Not only do I have long natural nails now, but also I've learned how to deal with longer nails so I don't break them easily. I've also improved my diet. I make sure I eat food rich in Vitamin b and protein everyday - cooked eggs, peanuts, soy, spinach and occasionally pork liver.

Were your nails always brittle or did it just start all of the sudden. My nails use to grow without any problems but over the past few years they have become weak.

Sevetria, I've always had long, strong pretty nails back when I was in college because I have someone who comes and does my nails once a week on Sundays. When I moved out of my hometown I had to do my own nails and started DIY gel nails. I believe that made my nails weak. Now, I made a promise to have my nails done at least once a month by a professional.
