So for gel nail polish, do you have to do something to your nails before putting the gel nail polish on? my friend said you have to have some kind of light so what is the process to gel nails? opi released gel nail polish and I want to know if I can just put it on without having to do anything before hand

You've lamp you can get em cheap from eBay you also need top n bottom coat.

You can even get the start up kits from Walmart and target. They usually have sensationails and sally hansen gel. Personally I bought the set from sephora and looking back wish I had bought a cheap lamp.
