So I'm 1000% sure this is the closest I'll get to being white.

Which I'm A-OK with. xD

But this is my rendition of the notepad from the YouTube video Don't Hug Me
I'm Scared.

But I'm testing out body paint and this is the second attempt on my face. The first one was not good and this one still isn't great, but it's because I either suck at applying it or something's off with my mixture...I've got some time to figure it out.

Used Pros Aide No tack adhesive
White paint
MUFE HD Setting Powder
UD 24/7 liner in perversion
Black in the Lorac pro palette
Melt Cosmetics Bane

Thank you ladies! It wasn't that hard, just some paint, my fingers, and a sponge. It's a little streaky in some places but I'll get it eventually

Is that PAX you are working with? I don't recommend it, especially on the face. It is HORRIBLE for your skin, difficult to remove, and difficult to work with. If you can, try Snazaroo, Grimas (easier to find if you are in Europe), Kryolan, or Mehron. All make high quality face/body paints that will suit your purpose much better than PAX.

Use a barrier/sealing spray like the Mehron Barrier Spray, apply the cosmetics, set with powder, and spray again. It will become extremely water/sweat/rub resistant and won't crack or fade, plus it isn't as stiff as PAX. Best part: washes off with soap and water. :)

Also, MUFE HD setting powder is straight up silica powder. They mark up the price over 800% and put it in a little container. You can get the exact same stuff from a supplier like TKB Trading for a tiny fraction of the price. Or, you can use cornstarch, which achieves the same effect.

Looks really good though! That wig is actually really cute on you. :D

It was actually super easy to remove and I was confused as to why. Like it took me ten minutes top to get it off my face  ith

Did not want to press enter yet -_-

It took me ten minutes to get it off my face both times. Just used the remover and some cold water and I was set. But again, dunno why this was and I was very confused as everywhere online said it was going to be super hard to remove and I had no problems at all (came off my face easier then my arm). Mehron I probably will give a try at some point as the PAX was weird when I smiled, I've seen some not so good things in a comparison test with grimas, snazaroo, and kryolan which is why I picked the pros aide in the first place.

As for the MUFE powder it was the tiny trial size that I've had for year now and hadn't made a dent in it, but I won't be rebuying it for this (and I wasn't in love with it enough to buy it again anyway for my makeup). I wanted to use baby powder or corn starch like you said but I couldn't find either in my house for whatever reason.

But I will definitely try to sealing spray, powder, and spray method with the mehron when I finally get it and do a test with it. Thank you!

I think it looks really good overall but I get you with the patchyness I had the same problem this past halloween and I don't havr a solution:(

Using a barrier spray then applying a water based paint like Kryolan Aquacolors or Mehron Paradise Paints in thin layers will help with the patching. The key is thin layers and building it up gradually. It's a little tricky but once you get the hang of it it isn't so bad.

Using PAX is tricky because the ratio of prosaide to acrylic has to be just right or else it won't behave. Cream makeup like they sell at Halloween stores is junk. ;) Theatrical cream products tend to stay malleable, so they aren't ideal for cosplay use.
It's all about finding a combo of products and techniques to achieve the look and results you want. It's a process, but generally isn't too expensive.

Snazaroo is my go to product only because its so easy to work with and when set properly it stays! :D I personally use cornstarch (or cocoa powder if I'm working with darker colors) and I also find that spraying a little hairspray on a sponge and dabbing it on high traffic areas (for me it's around the lips and nose, if the character is expressive then I apply some on my cheeks and forehead as well). PAX was awful for me but you did an AMAZING job. Honestly it looks really great in the picture and maybe the hairspray tip will help? Also that wig is fabulous and super close to the original >.< I love it all lol

^I also agree with the thin layers a thousand times over. its tedious but makes a huge difference.

Thank you ladies!

I think my problem is that the pax was a little to thick, drippy, but thick. But that wouldn't explain why it came off my face so easily ( which I guess I should count as a blessing but I'm a little worried about it) cause I imagine the problem would be not enough pax...I dunno, I've got until August. Plenty of time to mix and play in other things!
