Info about acrylic nails??

I might get my nails done and I was thinking about getting acrylics. What is the process? How much do they cost? How long do they stay on? Pros and Cons?  Thanks!

They look good but after they come off your nails are left weak ugly and messed up don't get them get gel

I usualy only get acrylics because I bite my fingers:/ but definitely get gel:) its almost like the same

I personally like Acrylics better than Gel because the Gel always chips and doesn't last as long in my opinion. Acrylics do weaken your nails but I've had mine on for two years and get them 'filled' so I don't actually care if its messing up my real nail if I always have them on. Also I have had them taken off at the place (I had to get them off for surgery) and my actual nails weren't even as bad as everyone makes them out to be, but if take them off myself they look horrible.
