Ok so my foundation. Looks cakey all the time I'm not sure what it is but I think it may be my concealer but today I didn't use concealer I just used foundation setting powder and a setting spray but like my makeup can just wipe off even after everything dries I even used a primer. I have no idea what to use anymore I'm so afraid of touching my face on anything cause it will wipe right off..

Maybe I read your response wrong but do you use the beauty blender to apply primer? That's not something you want to do because the primer won't be on the skin and it won't have assess to the makeup it is making stay on your face. I hope that makes sense. Apply primer as you would moisturize.

I have the same skin type and I don't use primer. This may sound weird I have used tons of different primers but my skin and foundation looks better without it. I just moisturizer with the Johnson Johnson baby lotion

I apply my primer with my fingers and use the BB for foundation and concealer and I will make sure to let everything dry and set first thank you everyone!

I agree. I have to wait between products and let them be absorbed for best application and wear.

I agree don't use a beauty blender for your primer & don't put on too much foundation. if I put on too much ill blot & I usually have better luck with my makeup staying on

Are you letting your primer sit first?
I had this issue when I started using primer because I would just put it on and immediately use foundation.
Try to let it sit for about a minute, or in front of a cool blowing fan for a few seconds.

Thank you I will definitely let it sit and I use my fingers for primer only and a bb for foundation and concealer only lol

It's most likely your skincare routine. Do you have a strict skincare regime? Cleanse, tone, moisturize, exfoliate?

Glasses will do that lol I wear then and it happens a lot. If it's the glasses that are the main problem, try using a bit of extra setting powder.

Is it your whole face, it just the spot with the glasses?

Yesterday I saw a video of wayne gross where he suggested to first apply primer or moisturizer first and then set it with powder and then apply foundation over the top and then you can again set it with powder if have very oily skin or else just foundation is sufficient.. this will make your foundation stay longer

It's my whole face and I don't have a very strict routine but I used a clearsil cleansing wipe and the the Burt's bees + toner makeup wipes before I put anything on
