What the difference between acrylic and gel nails?..I was thinking of getting gel nails for my birthday.

Acrylics are fake nails glued to your real nails. Gel nails are just a gel polish painted on. Both are damaging, but look so cute!

Gel nails are actually good for your nails! they help them grow! if you peel them off improperly that's the damaging part.
