Ok basically the question is why hasn't my hair grown back to its original length, it's been five years.. Does anybody here have any clue why?

Hair just takes a long time depending on your genes. The only reason you can think why is because hair goes through 3 phases which are falling, growing, and resting (not growing or falling) and maybe your hair is just resting a bit, if that makes sense
