I get my eyebrows and "mustache" waxed very other month or so, but after Every. Single. Session. I break out terribly in the spots I was waxed, and it isn't just for a few days.. No like a month. I'm going in on Tuesday, but am graduating late Thursday. Is there any way to prevent the horrible breakouts? I'm desperate! 😣😱

Why don't you thread them instead?

Oh my goshh this happens to me :( and personally my skin's too sensitive for threading, I'd really love some answers for this also x) haha.

You should be sure they are never ever double dipping and request an aloe based wax.

Have you got make up on when you go to get waxed? If so next time you go to get waxed make sure you thoroughly wash your face with cool/cold water. You can put a small amount of light moisturiser on after. Then once you've been waxed your beautician should put an after wax onto the treated areas. Leave that to soak in and do not touch the areas for the rest of the day. That evening or then next morning with clean hands apply alo vera gel and again, leave it to soak in and don't touch the areas and do not apply make up for at least 24 hours after being waxed!

@Rozberry J the double dipping really should not effect those areas. Double dipping should only not be done when waxing intimate areas (bikini/under arms) Obviously new spatulas should be used for every client. A cream wax should be fine not just an alo base. Cream wax is the most popular wax so is actually already used in most salons and is quite sensitive. Lots of places do use a tee tree cream wax so if the salon you are already going to doesn't, call around to some more local salons and see what wax they are using :)

Put witch hazel on the area after waxing.
