Well it was either liquid or a pencil.. unless you used one of those felt tip liquid liners :s

Great for a first try!
It takes serious time and trials to master the winged liner.
I'd say in the future, try not to extend it out so much, if you're going for more natural.
Follow the natural shape of your eye, and then when you get to the end do a diagonal line up (short of course) then from the tip of that line draw a line down to lash line. Basically you wanna make a triangle and then fill that in.
I find that makes it look nicer, especially when you close your eye.
Lauren Conrad has a good tutorial on this.
