Lately I've been noticing that my eyebrows are looking really bold. I have naturally dark eyebrows and fill them in everyday. How can I prevent this? Looks weird with the brown powder I've been using. Any tips?

What products do you use to fill them in?

Start at the middle, and do the ends first, then with the little bit of product thats left fill in the front, really lightly. If that doesn't work you can also just use a lighter shade on the inner part :) nice name btw ;D haha.

* The width of your brows. (are they too wide or thin?)
* The shape & angle of your arch. (is your arch forced into an un-natural evil queen shape or are they completely straight?)
* The color of your brow product. (is your product too dark or in the wrong undertone?)
* What type of product are you using (gel, mousse, powder or pencil)
* Application technique (are you being too heavy-handed?)
If one of these factors is not on point, it can create brows that look too bold, unbalanced, and even make you look mad or hard looking (somewhat masculine). Go over each factor when you study your brows. Here are my tips: Just by looking at your pic, I notice that your brows are a medium width which is very pretty, but when your brows are a thin to med width, there's a tendency for them to look too long. Just like when brows are too thick, they can look too short. I would shorten them a little on the inside, starting at the tearduct or slightly past it but not passing the side of the inner nose. And you can also experiment with the softest looking brow product (powder). I like to use a gel product to lightly outline the perimeter of the brows for clean definition but then fill in with powder. If you're already using a powder, then try a lighter color. Here's a pic of what I'm trying to describe.

I use an eyebrow brush to brush mine straight down and then trace along the top where the brow naturally starts. Then brush then back to place and trace along the edges of the parts in the middle. Then full in the rest. Then do the ends. Hope that helps
