So I've decided to wait a few more months to buy extensions so with the money I'd have spent on them I'm going on a makeup haul in 2 days so I'm trying to work out what I'd like, I'll be buying drug store products cause I'm a quantity kind of girl haha! I just wanted to know if anyone has used the paintbox 77 shade eyeshadow palette? It looks like this, right now it's 10$ so I'm thinking about getting it, how does it look to you girls?

Also, what're your opinions on the Revlon whisper lipsticks? I'm looking into a Lilac one and wanted to know if they're a good purchase, how do they go on? I'll post pictures of both products. Thank you girls! Also, if you have any drugstore must haves let me know, I'm on a hunt for new products :)

First picture/ eyeshadow palette. :D

The lipsticks are by maybelline not revlon, but I own a couple and I really like them. For the ones I have they're pigmented and moisturizing, but they're the type of lipstick you will have to re apply. I haven't tried or heard of the palette so I don't know how well it is. As for drugstore must haves, check out nyx!

The Maybelline lipsticks, are wonderful! They decently pigmented, and they go on so smoothly. They make my lips feel so nice. c': They have a pretty good wearing time too. I'd say they're a good buy.

Oohh that palette looks good for the price! Except It doesn't look very pigmented... If it's winter in Australia then those are the right shades! I haven't tried any of those out yet, I'm afraid! But I can tell you for sure that the lipstick would look fricken gorgeous on you! It's a pretty colour :)

Thank you Zahra! I thought it looked good for the price too I just thought I'd see what everyone else thought before I get it (it's my first palette with more than like 10 colours haha) but I think it'll be good for some variety! Yes it's winter here haha :) and I've been looking for a lilac lipstick for a while, this one just caught my eye 😉💕

Love those lipsticks, very smooth.

@ Monica, are they very pigmented? I can't seem to find a good review on them anywhere haha.

I tried finding some reviews! I think this person is talking about the lipstick colour you've shown us above :)

I own the shade "Oh La Lilac" and I am absolutely in love with this lip color! I found the formula to be very moisturizing but the only problem that I found with this particular shade is that on my lips it has a tendency to require some sort of color underneath to boost the color payoff.

I tried finding some relevant ones to your colour :) another review:

Even though I'm not a vivid color lipstick fan, I thought I'd try out Maybelline's colour whisper in Oh La La Lilac after watching a tutorial online using Mac's Viva Glam Nicki 2. (Perfect dupe by the way). These colours are so vivid and go on so smoothy. They are super hydrating and pigmented. I am more of a matte girl so these aren't for me but I'm sure any glossy lip lover would adore these.

Another review...

I was actually quite disappointed in these lipsticks. I have two; Petal rebel and Coral ambition. The color looks really nice in the packaging but once I applied it on, there was really not much pigment. Lipsticks are quite sheer (to sheer for me) and they look more like a tinted lip balm. If you're looking for just a little bit of color on your lip then you'd like these.

Btw these were all copy and pasted :)

I think these people are trying to say the lipsticks are moisturising, last for a few hours.., nothing too much and they're not very pigmented... I think there similar to the Revlon Butter lipsticks!

Thanks for mentioning these lipsticks! I'm 13 so I think they'd be a good wear for everyday lip tint and moisture! :)

You're welcome haha! :) glad someone else likes the idea of them too, I'll definitely purchase this and let you know how they are if you're interested haha :) I have like 150$ to just blow on makeup, nails, clothes but I really just want a huge makeup haul (getting excited right now about the eyeshadow palette) hahah! Thanks for the reviews also 😊💜

Hello! The palletes aren't the best, they lack pigmentation and and are always a bit to shimmery. I love the SLEEK eyeshadow palettes, great price and great colours. They do a fab a one that has a great mix of neutral/earthy tones, they include lighter shades for highlighting and darker shades for defining, they are great for everyday. Hope this helps! :) I haven't tried the lippy...

Thank you Wallace for the palette feedback, I'm not expecting great quality just trying to broaden my colour selection a little more but will definitely look into what you suggested! ☺️

I love the color whispers! They give you really smooth lips & some I'd say are pigmented but they are definitely buildable!

The palette is probably the same as coastal scents and bh cosmetics, they use the same manufacture and just slap their names on it, which they surprising have a lot of pigmentation. It's better with a primer, but I use my original 88 palette all the time, and I don't use a primer. I don't have oily
lids though. If you want more color selection I would try the original 88 palette since it looks like this. But definitely get a palette, it's awesome to play around with.

Shaye M.

Thank you so much Alyx! That helps a lot, I think they are supposed to be similar to coastal scents so I'm hoping it'll be a good purchase, I'll defs get an eye primer but I think for 10$ it's a no brainer haha, why not ☺️

I would stick with NYX palettes if you're going for drugstore but the color whispers are phenomenal!! Highly recommend it

I know someone that bought this palette and she said she didn't really like it because it wasn't really pigmented and had a bit of fallout and you'd have to keep building to get a nice colour. However if you want a good palette then check out nyx they have a lot of really good ones with a large variety of colours.
