I have dry and bad acne filled skin and I'm getting a new foundation tommorow. I'm not sure if I should get powder or liquid. Any suggestions?

I think you should use bb or cc cream with light powder because sometimes giving your face a break from something heavier like foundation can helps its condition and the fact you have dry skin doesn't make it any better key to helping dry skin is moisturize its a must for anyskin but ecspecially dry skin

Liquid for sure. If your skin is dry, a powder foundation will only emphasize the dry patches.

^ agreed with Cami.
liquid foundations like NARS Sheer Glow are better for people with dry skin, however liquid matte foundations aren't good for dry skin either.
make sure you set your liquid foundation with a setting powder tho, so it doesn't begin to melt throughout the day & sink into your pores & fine lines.

Honestly powders and creams have been the best thing for my dry skin. I use Merle Norman Mineral Foundation and it looks great! But that is the ONLY mineral makeup I like for my skin. Clinique Even Better was also really good for me.

Use primer though!

Exfoliate, moisturize, use a hydrayting primer, a light foundation of BB Cream (Maybelline has an awesome BB cream for acne prone skin) and then use liquid concealer on bad areas then top with a setting spray. I have the same issue with my skin and when I break out this is usually what I do if I even wear makeup at all
