I don't think flowy goes over flowy. unless the dress hugged your body then it would work but I don't think it goess very well here.

No...it would not work. I have a dress and cardigan very similar...my husband gave me grief for wearing both together...he said it made me look frumpy. And the irregular hem of both were just distracting to the eye. I now just wear the dress with a fitted denim jacket (sleeves rolled up) that sits above my waist.
