has anyone tried this foundation? I saw it in the shop the other day and it looked attractive.
I would like to invest in a foundation that looks natural, quick to apply, good for dry skin. I don't want to use my expensive one when I just sit at home.
Would this fit the bill?

I've read reviews and watched videos on this foundation...it didn't get that great of feed back...I feel on a good skin day it could work...if you have a little redness this will do nothing to cover it and its fast drying so applying it with anything other then your fingers isn't going to work...and since out is fast drying you have to blend it really fast...if your looking for something that isn't heave coverage but still natural for every day I'd suggest a bb cream instead

I think she is a being very bitchy and demanding. It's supposed to be light coverage after all. She has oily skin, which I don't so I can't really compare. Also, she put primer on...
Thanks for posting. It hasn't discouraged me sofar.

I use the higher end formula that Loreal duped (Giorgio Armani Maestro) religiously and I've tried this one. I have oily/combo skin. My skin is free of scars and acne breakouts. I must say that you have issue free skin (not trying to cover red zones, acne scars or outbreaks) then this makes for an awesome foundation. It is super light and gives your skin but better look. It is by far not a heavy coverage foundation at all. I consider it to be light/medium coverage. I only apply a light dusting of Bobbi Brown Retouching Powder or Hourglass Ambient Lighting powder in my t-zone just to brighten my face. Sometimes I don't even bother with powder as it dries down to a light powder finish so this is something you do not want to apply a ton of powder on. Overall I love both Loreal and Giorgio Armani versions.

Just saw the video...no wonder it didn't work for her. She used a primer loaded with silicone and the ingredients in the foundation do not play well with the primer.

Yes exactly, Shelley, about that primer. On good days I look like on the pic I just posted without anything on. I still have pores so I wouldn't mind putting this foundation on. On bad days the Bobbi Brown foundation I own is just fine. In summer, it's another issue since my vitiligo shows up, I look like vanilla and chocolate :( I need full coverage then.

I bought it and returned it, out didn't work out got me like I had hoped. I have combination skin and it got a little flakey over my dry bits.

I like it more than most of the other foundations I use and find myself coming back to it all the time! You HAVE to apply with your fingers because it is almost as liquidy as water. But it is like coverage and buildable. It does cover my redness but I still need a concealer for pimple. And it controls my oil pretty well! It sticks to dry patches a little bit but way less than other (even high end) foundations. But still a bit flaky.

So I went to the shop but they carry only the darkest shades. Going to try other shops tomorrow!
