I'm part Asian with fine curly hair that's moderately thick. I straighten and blow dry my hair A LOT. Almost every day. I only wash my hat 2-3 times a week and condition inbetween if need be. What's a heat protectant and shampoo and conditioner to help my terribly damaged hair? I've tried bumble and bumble straight and wasn't impressed. Tresemme worked but I feel like there should be something better. Suggestions?

Very fine. And I was contemplating the redken extreme but I've seen a lot of reviews saying they have chemically damaged hair. Mine is definitely heat damage. But what is the difference in the two? And how do you try to minimize heat damage and repair some of what you have?

For the heat protectant, I would say use Argan oil. I just started using about 3 weeks ago and it works wonders! I used to press my hair out a lot! Now I only press it out once a week. I got my oil from Sally Beauty Supply. The bottle is kinda small but a little goes a long way. Put some on your hair after you wash it while its still wet and put some on while you flat iron.

Also, for the shampoo and conditioner aspect, I would say use Mane and Tail shampoo and conditioner. My hair was kind of damaged from mostly heat and coloring. I personally haven't used it yet but I've been reading a ton of reviews on it. I'm just trying to get my hair back healthy and to maybe thicken my edges a little. I would say just do a little research. I'm in the same boat lol
