I'm 38 so I consider myself old school lol. I'm so used to swiping/ brushing my eyeshadow on.now I mostly see people patting the shadow on with the brush and only brushing when they are blending.

In my opinion patting only works with cream shadow for me. I swipe too! Keep on swiping!!

Christy. Some eyeshadow a have a lot of fall out and you find you have a lot more under your eye than on your lids. Patting the eyeshadow on to you lids will minimize fall out.

When you apply the eyeshadow onto your brush tap off anybody the extra shadow back on to your palette and pat your eyeshadow onto your lid. Now do your usual routine on your other eye and notice the difference.
