Well maybe you needed more time? I have the Avon one and it works for me. For some people in a minute it comes of but others need 2 or more. I haven't tried the Sally one but did you read the instructions?

You can shave it. That will help for about two, weeks then just shave it again or talk to your doctor about creams that won't cause pain.

It depends on the hair texture. Cremes work great on fine, peach fuzz hair. Waxing works better with more coarse hairs. (I would know lol)
