I bought a Brazilian blow out on groupon but my appointment isn't until January and my straighter/flat iron just broke. I straighten my hair every day and I usually used a CHI flat iron. I'm considering a GHD one and I'm willing to spend up to $200 on a straighter. What kind do you use and recommend?

I have used a CHI for most of my hair straightening and it works really well. I would try and buy another one because they straighten quickly and keep your hair shiny

GHD is a very good straightener, well worth the price in my opinion. I also love my Sedu, it gets my hair super straight & leaves it with a nice shine plus bounce :). If your hair is hard to straighten then I would also suggest looking into BabyLiss Pro it heats up to 450 degrees. I personally don't need it to go that high but I know others that their hair won't stay straight if they don't use a very high temp. Just do some research, read some reviews & take it from there. Hope this helped :)

My favorite hair straightener is the Karmin g3 , it's very good, leaves my hair soft , frizz less and very straight. I love it!! :)

I would recommend the Paul Mitchell Pro Tools Ion Smooth 1.25 inch Flat Iron! I've used this tool for years and I LOVE IT! It works great and I have really curly, unruly hair and it makes my hair really straight, smooth and manageable! It heats to 400 degrees and only takes 30 seconds-minute to heat up! It is more expensive (I think 180-250 range, not sure exact amount), but a great investment!
I made a video a few days about how I straighten my hair and I use it in that video, so if you are interested in seeing how it works for my curly type hair and that sort of thing, I'll put a link below!
Hope this was helpful! (:

I have a Babyliss, which is what my hairdresser recommended, and I love it. Totally worth the money!
