I had the same problem and always get dry, cracked lips in the winter time. I bought one of those eos lip balms (they come in a sphere shaped package) and that stuff is amazing!! I highly recommend it and you can get them anywhere.

Lanolin is terrific for getting your lips back into shape when they are extremely dry. It is most often used as nipple can for breast feeding women who are experiencing severe cracking. You can get it at Walmart in with the breast feeding items or you van go with Dr Lipp's nipple cream for lips. I think Sephora sells it your can also get it on the Ipsy website.

Traci I've been wanting to get some if the fresh lip sugar but my four year old is obsessed with lipstick and lip balm and she always ends up winding it up and squishing the cap on I wanna cry every time. I'm having a hard enough time keeping her from doing it to to my YSL lipstick I will cry for real if that happens.

Wow I'm a lippy junkie so here we go haha:
1.CARMAX personally my favourite lipbalm of all time it's moisturising relieving soothing and you can feel it working just don't lick your lips it doesn't taste great haha
2. BURTS BEES I honestly love this it's soothing moisturising and you can get it in colour to add that extra glam
3. EOS I think you've probably heard enough about these because its amazing yet again it is sooo moisturising especially for the winter time and wow the packaging is soo cute and sophisticated
4. BABYLIPS these are so popular at my school everybody has one in both colour and plain but once again it's moisturising soothing and has a stylish packaging not to mention how moisturising the DR RESCUE ones are :-)
I could literally go on for ever but these are my top ones also the body shop and lush have really cute lipbalms hope this helped:)

Burt's Bees is a great daily balm. I am a huge fan of C.O. Bigelow's My Favorite Lip Balm with natural Shea butter. And I have also been using My Favorite Night Balm from the same line. I get these from Bath and Body.

Yeah I agree with Mariana, Burt's Bees is pretty good at solving dry lips...that (I know it may sound lil girlish) or I still use watermelon flavored kool aid lip smackers :D.

You need some intensive, thick treatment. My favs are Blistex Moisture Melt & Clinique Superbalm Moisterizing Gloss. The Clinique comes in color tints. I prefer these thicker squeezy tube types for healing & protecting as opposed to the waxy chapstick-like balms which are fine for prevention
, but not thick enough for healing. You need a thick barrier that will stick to your lips so your lips have a chance to heal. Make sure you put it on at night. A lot of people's mouths will open when they are sleeping, then when you start to breathe through your mouth you're increasing the drying effects.
