So lately my skin has been breaking out, and I don't know why. I was wondering if I have moderate/severe acne and need to see a derm. or if I just have typical teenage acne. My face right now has-
• 3-5 blemishes (with some redness)
• Blackheads on nose
• every few months a get those deep under the skin hormonal bumps, but I don't think there's anything I can do about those.
So do I have really bad skin? I'm hard on myself so I think I do, but I want others opinions. Thanks.

No, you definitely have "typical teenage acne." That isn't bad at all.

Just make sure you're eating right, drinking lots of water, and you have a good face cleansing routine. If nothing works, then turn to the derm.

Maybe mild acne not severe that's nothing compare to stuff I've seen or read doe..I have blackheads on my nose and occasionally get some pimples on my face (hormonal as well) I still use a salicylic scrub (clean and clear for blackheads) seems to work :)

I would see a dermatologist because acne is a condition. Is it "severe?" No, but it's never a bad thing to see a professional. The blemishes and deep bumps can be treated. I use a sulfur face wash and spot treatments for the acne and bumps. My skin has improved so much. Drug store products never did the trick for me, but it's always worth a shot! If that doesn't help, see a dermatologist.

No... Trust me... You have really good skin! Not perfect, but does anyone really?

Thank you all so much! I'm going to Sephora this week and shop around for some sulphur/SA face products. (: xx
