I have tried so many foundations but I find they always look like I have over powdered my face after if that makes sense when I don't put any powder on at all. I think also my pores have something to do with it :( I have dry skin and I'm looking for a foundation that sits nicely on my face and that looks natural just like perfect skin. I want something with medium coverage with a natural or radiant dewy finish. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I use covergirl 3-in-1 and I just tried this today: I washed my face and dab dried it then I applied vaseline next I appled elf moisturizer (apply it well) then I applied covergirl and use a beauty blender to apply it. Now my skin feels moisturized it has a little bit of shine and it the foundation has set in like its my natural skin tone!

I personally think you should probably try to find a new moisturizer first, if your skin looks good your foundation will too
smooth canvas = smooth foundation :)

Invest in a good primer to smooth out your skin is the foundation looks flawless

I also have dry skin and I had the same problem for sooo long :( then it realized not only was my skincare routine off, but I wasn't using foundations suitable for my skin type! I switched up my skin care routine (if you wanna know what I use let me know) and started using mac mineralized foundation and loreal true match lumi mixed, then Mac skin finish natural to set :)

Make sure you're moisturizing before putting on any face makeup. Remember to exfoliate every couple of days too.
Then make sure you have a good primer that fits your needs:
Redness reduction
Pore filling
Oil maintenance
Brightening

You NEED Maybelline Fit Me foundation, it is lightweight on the skin, and has a glowy radiant finish and looks quite skin-like, It really looks best on dryer skin types. It has medium coverage, I love it personally it looks so natural, a lot of oily skin girls hate it.

I have dry skin also and I use the Maybelline FitMe Foundation! It works really well and it doesn't look cakey or powdery at all! I love it x

That Maybelline foundation looks gorgeous, I'll need to try that! I have dry skin and foundation would always go on me horribly, cakey and patchy, I've tried a million different kinds and the best I've found for a dewy glow and compliments on my skin is Dr Perricone No Foundation Foundation, I literally couldn't be without it! It's pretty pricey but totally worth it for the confidence boost and the compliments you'll get when you have it on! X.
