I am REALLY fair and foundation is always to dark for me, I feel really insecure because I know the foundation is to dark but its the lightest shade. I have found some but they can be a tad pink, and even having pink/cool undertones, it can make the color seem darker in natural light. Who makes the lightest foundation? (and don't underestimate when I say fair, I mean vampire fair)

What about the Shu Uemura lightbulb foundation? I have been wanting to hear reviews, but not sure if it will still be to dark.

Illamasqua makes a white foundation that a lot of girls/guys mix with an existing foundation to make the correct shade for them.

Manic panic. 13-20 dollars depending on what you want (liquid or powder) and where you get it. They only make 3 shades and than white so you are limited but they blend into the skin easily so even if it's slightly to light or dark you will have no issues.

I'm not sure whether this brand is available in the US but there's a brand called Dainty Doll. It was founded by Nicola Roberts (Girls Aloud) and it's for really fair people. Everything in the range is made to suit pale skin.

For better color choices, I'd go for higher end foundations. I'd try clinique and mac.

Korean brands are good for very pale skin, In winter I use aqua petit jelly by holika holika and it's super pale and gives good coverage, can buy it on eBay or Amazon x

I have tried most of these (mac, clinique, L'oreal, Revlon) all to dark, I will check out the white foundations for mixing and some Korean brands. I have looked for dainty doll but I can't find where to buy it. No one is selling the lightest shade which I think may work. Also I don't want to get color matched.because they always give me a yellow foundation 4 shades to dark. But thank you for everyone who helped =)

Basically almost every high end brands like Nars, Urban Decay, Makeup Forever, Kat Von D, Smashbox, Bobbi Brown, etc. But drugstore brands like Loreal, Rimmel, Maybelline, and Revlon don't make as light of shades. I would go to Sephora and get color matched with their new system (its like a scanner and it shows what your exact color is and pairs you with the best foundations for you).

The color matcher didn't work. It went with the lighest number it could give but it was too dark.

Wow really? Well I would just look for the lightest color in the store? I have very very fair skin and don't have this issue? Maybe try Lancôme?

Also have you considered just wearing concealor? Because they usually have lighter colors than foundations. A lot of time I just wear a concealer (just for blemishes are dark circles) with a setting powder over it

Bare naked brand, shade.5 is what I use and still have to blend really well on my neck because I'm a bit lighter than that shade, but it works! I'd try it out :)
