Best Purple Hair Dyes?

Help!! I don't want anything too dark. I want a light color. I know to conditioner to the hair dye but I'm afraid the color wouldnt last as long & won't stay vibrant. is this true or? of course I would bleach my hair.

I used special effects blue velvet which started off a dark blue but faded into a nice lilac color after a few weeks.

I'd advise not using Manic Panic. It rinses out too fast and won't last long. Ions is a good semi-permanent dye as far as permanent you could do Pravana or something. Goodluck on your search :)

Try the fudge brand, best dye I've found to stay in if it's diluted with conditioner :) their purple is nice too.

I would say manic panic over Pravana. I don't know if its just me or what- I got my entire head done with their vivid violet, it looked gorgeous but was such a mess. Every time I washed my hair for two weeks afterwards it would turn my neck and hands purple, and it faded super fast. I didn't really get to enjoy it bc of how messy it was. Manic panic lasted WAY longer for me. You said you wanted a light color, and pravana has a line of pastels, if you are willing to try that brand. Good luck! Purple hair is badass!

Victoria I'm so sorry. Thats weird, manic panic rubbed off my hair onto all me clothes and pillows for weeks. Its odd, though any dye can do that haha.
