I have very dry skin on my nose and forehead, and when I put foundation on it goes all flakey, its horrible! I use a garnier moisturizer for very dry skin and I also use a primer before applying makeup but it doesn't really help! I use an exfoliating face wash every 2/3 days but nothing seems to help! does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get rid of this dry skin or any foundations that are good for dry skin? thank you!

Well I have dry skin and I know how much it sucks :/
-You do have to exfoliate but once or twice evry week.
-A good primer would be Smashbox photo finish foundation primer,Benefit Porefessional or Revlon PhotoReady Perfecting Primer.
-And a good foundation for dry skin would be Revlon colorstay whipped foundation, Tarte Maracuja Miracle Foundation,Nars Sheer Glow.
-And I really recommened using Mac fix+. I love it! it leaves a fresh and dewy look!

I think you should try either loreal lumi foundation or the Maybelline fit Me. the both leave the skin glowy and smooth.

I have super dry skin and I really love Clinique Even Better. Best I've found so far... Nars Sheer Glow is good but broke me out. Makeup Forever also has a good one (not sure which one, I think the face and body one, but read reviews on Sephora). Tarte is also pretty good but broke me out too. I really like Bare Minerals too, very good and light feeling on the skin. I also like Too Faced (bb cream that comes in bottle, not jar, and their foundation) but the the colors are wrong for me but it looked really good just too dark for me. No matter what though make sure you are using a good moisturizer and primer, I love Benefit Porefessionals, Maybelline Baby Skin, or Rimmel Fix and Perfect. And for moisturizer I love CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion (I was using Cetaphil but this has been better for my flaking dry skin). No matter what though, ask for samples first! Also go onto Sephora's website and look at the foundations and adjust the categories for dry skin and the finish you are looking for (luminous, matte, etc.) and then you can read reviews to see which is best for you. I also love reading reviews on makeupalley too, to help you best decide

Bobbi Brown Extra Repair FOUNDATION (not the tinted moisterizer or tinted cream/balm) is the ONLY foundation I've ever found that doesn't stick to my flaky skin. It gives medium coverage & has a strong herbally scent to it that dissipates after you apply it to your skin.
