Yeah put aloe Vera on it and don't try to cover it up like wearing a bandage or turtleneck you have to let it breathe Lol, but you do and put cold water on it too. (:

If you're at home put some mustard and when it dries and falls apply new, it'll help.

I burnt myself around Christmas time with my curling wand in exactly the same place as you, unlike the comments I did not put anything on it, it was scabby for 2 weeks and then it disappeared, it only shows when I'm in the bath. I'd put cold water on it and then Aloe Vera. Do not pick it if it scabs over. x

I did that and 100% aloe gel is the way to go, it really speeds up the healing time. Also make sure it's 100% aloe. If it's not it may have alcohol or fragrance in it which will sting like crazy.
