I've always had very clear skin until a couple of years ago. I broke out really bad and it just seems to be getting worse. I really think it could possibly be the foundation I've been currently using (Revlon colorstay). I have more red scarring than pimples now. The Revlon covers it Everything very well BUT I will have to stop using it! Does anyone know of a really good liquid foundation that has good coverage and safe for my sensitive/acne prone skin?? Thanks!! Xoxo
(I have no price range)

Urban Decay Naked or Revlons Nearly Naked are good. I also know that Neutrogena has a foundation out specifically for acne prone skin I can't remember what it is though off the top of my head.

Amelia I can't see the name of it. Which Clinique is it?

It's clinique acne solutions. You could go to sephora and ask for to sample a few foundations that say medicated or are for ance.

I second the Clinique acne solutions, the product is advertised as a medium coverage but it actually has full coverage capabilities. And it does has about.5 salicylic acid in it for treatment. Also cover fx would be another great option :)

The Nakeds have good full coverage in my experience. For the Revlon brand there's a matching mattifying powder that I also have used and have had no problems in terms of breaking out or anything.

I agree with cover fx and the Clinique acne solutions line both are good another good full coverage foundation that is ok on acne prone skin is Estée Lauder double wear.

Emma, is it Revlon colorstay? It's horrible, and I'm barely realizing it!

You could try a primer to act as a barrier between your skin and the makeup. But personally I cannot use a lot of drugstore foundations. I have acne thanks to genetics but I absolutely notice a difference when using drugstore foundations. Even if they are meant for oily skin or are supposed to be matte, they just make me an oily mess and add contribute to more breakouts. I've had a lot of luck with the naked skin foundation from Urban Decay though. It hasn't added to any breakouts and it has great coverage. Some days I don't even need concealer at all. I truly think that some people's skin is more sensitive to cheaper products. Some people get lucky with cheaper products but I seem to have nothing but trouble with most of the stuff people rave about so I just stay away from a lot of it now lol.

I picked up clinique superbalanced today so I'm pretty excited to try it out and hopefully get better results. I've only ever used drugstore foundations before so it's all new to me.
