I used to have very oily skin, but with the help of the lovely ladies on this app, I have cured my oily skin! :) I'd like to pass my knowledge onto girls who are currently suffering from oily skin, and hopefully ya'll can see amazing improvements like I did :) here's what I've leaned:

1) Moisturize- I figured moisturizing oily skin would only make my skin more oily, right? Wrong! The reason skin becomes so oily is because it is dehydrated, therefore it begins producing an excess amount of oil to try to hydrate itself. Use a face moisturizer right after you've finished cleansing your face!! :)

2) Milk of Magnesia- Use milk of magnesia as a make up primer! Yes, milk of magnesia is a laxative, but I promise it works! Before putting on any make up, gently rub some milk of magnesia into your skin, you'll notice it begins as a liquid, and it tuns into a pasty matte texture as you rub it into your skin. Let it dry for a few minutes, then continue with make up routine :) milk of magnesia has not been harmful for my skin in any way, it has only improved the condition of my skin and made my skin super super super soft!! :)

3) Powder foundation-
Powder foundations are made to soak up oil, so using a great powder foundation will help your skin stay matte all day! I use NYX Set It Don't Fret It finishing powder, and it makes my make up stay matte ALL DAY!! I would highly recommend it!! :)

4) Blotting- As the day goes on, use blotting sheets (honestly, toilet paper works just well) to blot any oil from your face that has emerged through out the day. This trick is awesome because it keeps your make up on, and takes away oil! Win-win!! :)

These tricks have entirely changed my skin condition!! I encourage all of you ladies to try these methods!! :) I wouldn't have typed all of this out if it doesn't actually work ;) good luck!! ❌⭕️❌⭕️ 💜😊

I follow this already. Sans the powder foundation. Hmmmm that's interesting though. I would think it would break up and oxidize from facial oils by mid day.

More tips:
-Milk of magnesia is wonderful! The only thing is, it's not as smooth of a canvas for makeup. You can wipe it off after you let it dry then apply a primer for that smooth base. Works just the same if not better.
-A good setting powder is a must! I love my Ben nye neutral set powder. Leaves me matte all day and doesn't have that ashy translucent look. It's truly colorless.
