Answering with complete honesty...Do you honestly care about what people think regarding your makeup? Like if you do your makeup, do you have to ask other people for their opinions or are you more of a "as long as I like it that's all that matters"

I don't think anyone really "cares" but I do think they want opinions on what looks good and what doesn't to each individual. We can't please everyone..someone might like long thick fake eyelashes, and others like a more natural look. It's all our personal opinions. If someone told me they didn't like my eyeliner, I surely wouldn't change it just because that one person doesn't like it.

No not at all make up it's something I personally like and it makes me fell prettier about my self so I really don't care if someone else likes or dislikes it I fell like you can reflect your own personality in the way you present your self I fell prettier and that's what matters it's my skin :)

With complete honesty, no. I like to know what I can improve upon (cleaning things up, how to do a cut crease, if I need to blend more), but that's it.

I agree with Cali. I'd like to know if my makeup is smeared or running But if you don't like my style of it like dark lips or crazy eyes then I don't care what people think because I do that for me. if I ask if something looks good because I'm unsure is the only time I really care.

I could care less if people don't like my makeup (most are still stuck in the 80's here), but do appreciate constructive criticism. If my particular look makes me appear older or my foundation no longer quite suits me, I'd like to know. Makeup is VERY personal! And I love this ^!!

No, I do not care about what people think. I do not care about anyone's opinions. I like to share my looks and work, but if someone says they don't like it I'm not going to cry about it. I wear and do my makeup however I like and I tend to do dramatic and not so neutral looks. the only person whom opinion effects me is my husband. He doesn't like how I do my makeup sometimes and he will comment on it but even then I tell him to shut the hell up and don't ruin it for me lol.

I don't :) but is sometimes I do get picked on about my brows I've tried doing them light but it doesn't go with me I have very strong mexican features hehe ;/ so I guess when I get told I try not to put mind and not take it seriously I'm just a dramatic eyeliner Arabian makeup looks :)

I think for some things I care. If it's just basic "no-makeup" makeup then I don't really care but if it is something trendy or a bit more glamorous I would want people to like it and see that it was done well.

Well let's be fair here, there's a huge difference between saying "you could improve by..." and "why would you wear that??" So in that sense, constructive criticism is useful, because people can help you get a look exactly right. However, those who have negative opinions simply because the look doesn't suit their personal taste annoy the bejeezus out of me.

I wouldn't say I care because I'm not doing it for them, but for myself. Now, I love when I get compliments on my makeup and I don't want them to think wow her face is orange or something. Probably the only person I ask if my makeup looks alright is my mom, or if I feel like I smeared my mascara or have lipstick on my teeth kind of thing I'll ask friends or my bf, but other than that, I don't care what people think about my makeup
